How is anticipation calculated?

Anticipation (0–100) is how much a not-yet-aired title is looked forward to compared with the rest of its season. It is not a quality score and never counts toward the overall score.

It uses how many people follow the title on AniList (list adds, favourites), MyAnimeList (plan to watch, members) and Bangumi (want to watch); each source compares a title only with the other titles of the season. When there are enough pre-air comments, their sentiment adds a small share.

Once a title starts airing it moves to the Airing ranking, ordered by overall score.
