What people sayPublic comments from other sites
AI sentiment analysisAn AI model (qwen3:8b) rates each public comment as very positive / positive / mixed / negative / very negative (scored 9.5 / 8 / 6 / 4 / 2), averages them weighted by confidence, site, length, “helpful” votes and date, then shrinks the result toward a neutral 6 (so a few comments can't inflate it). With fewer than 10 comments it doesn't count toward the overall score yet.Only the latest ~40 comments per site are read (plus ~50 posts from each forum's episode threads, which weigh less): a sample, not everything. Excerpts are at most 140 characters and belong to their authors; comments that may contain spoilers are not shown. Comments from Chinese sites appear in an AI translation, with the original one click away. Sentiment labels can be wrong. Updated Oct 7, 2026, 06:36.See the score breakdownSentiment score5.9/10

Overall score The overall score is not a simple average but a weighted blend:

Each part is weighted in “virtual votes”: more votes and comments mean more weight.See the breakdown · Scoring rules in detailOverall score 5.3/10
Score breakdownThe three parts are weighted in “virtual votes”: the more site votes and analyzed comments, the more weight that part gets. Fan sentiment is capped at 35%, and each AniRanking rating counts as one vote. Full rules

Not enough evidence to rank yet (needs ≥ 1,000 site votes, or ≥ 30 analyzed comments plus a site score, or ≥ 20 AniRanking ratings)
Site scoresThe site consensus is 5.30 (186 votes, weighted by site reliability × log of votes); shrunk toward the season baseline 6.86 by vote count, it becomes 5.30. Sites score differently (Bangumi runs low, bilibili high), so each is first calibrated to one scale using titles rated on both it and AniList, then combined; sites with fewer than 100 votes are ignored.
